Environmental protection and sustainability – rethinking has evolved out of the company’s sense of responsibility and legislative regulations. BUCOLIN has supported this process for decades and is one of the pioneers in introducing water-based coating systems for industrial applications.
BUCOLIN’s certified production processes are designed according to environmental principles- in closed loops. Waste heat from cooling processes and exhaust air is recovered, waste minimised, waste solvents supplied to a recycling plant. Through the use of hydro or high-solids coating systems, the solvent content is continuously reduced.
Regular inspections such as air quality and pollutant emission measurements confirm the high level of labour and environmental protection. This benefits our employees, the community and environment in the immediate neighbourhood, and our customers have the assurance of working with a responsible partner.
As a member of the Chemical Industry Association and the Association of German Paint Industry we comply with national and EU directives. We provide our customers with consultancy and other services in the implementation of these complex environmental requirements. In addition, we provide active assistance in the conversion of paint workshops to water-based industrial paint.
